New Build Cottage in the Peak District
Completed Project: Joint Venture – New Build Cottage in the Peak District
This unique project was a joint venture with a landowner on the edge of the Peak District, set in a stunning countryside location with far-reaching views. The site originally housed a run-down horse stable, which we carefully demolished to make way for a beautifully crafted two-bedroom stone cottage.
Working collaboratively with the landowner, we provided full design and build services managing every stage from concept to completion. Thanks to our experience, knowledge of traditional construction methods, and close attention to detail, we delivered the project two weeks ahead of schedule.
The new cottage was designed to complement the surrounding rural landscape and meet strict planning requirements. We used high-quality, locally sourced materials, including:
- Natural punched face stone and stone sills from a nearby quarry
- Spanish slate roof tiles
- Traditional timber-framed windows and doors
- Timber fascias to maintain the authentic cottage aesthetic
This project is a true reflection of our craftsmanship, efficiency, and ability to maximise the potential of a site through strategic joint ventures. The result is a charming countryside home that blends seamlessly with its surroundings while delivering modern comfort and timeless character.



3 Townhouses
Completed Project: Modern New Build Development – 3 Townhouses
This project was one of our own new build developments, where we acquired a disused plot of land previously occupied by a run-down block of garages. Recognising the potential of the site, we designed and developed a row of three modern two-bedroom townhouses that suited both the area and the growing demand for sustainable, high-quality homes.
We managed the full planning process in-house, creating our own design and working closely with our team of professionals to carry out all the necessary surveys and reports required for a successful full planning application.
Every aspect of the build was carefully considered to achieve a clean, contemporary look, from the choice of high-quality facing brick, roof tiles, and modern aluminium bi-folding doors and windows, to the contrasting colour palette that enhanced both the exterior and interior design.
These homes were constructed to an exceptional standard, complete with:
- Fully fitted kitchens with integrated appliances
- Quality flooring throughout
- Finished bathrooms and internal decoration
- Aluminium bi-folding doors opening onto landscaped patios
- Professionally landscaped gardens
We delivered each home to a fully finished, turnkey standard, ready for buyers to move straight in with nothing more than their furniture.
This development is a great example of how thoughtful design, attention to detail, and a focus on quality over quantity can result in homes that not only meet market demand but also complement the existing street scene.
